This was held on 21st November 2019 at the PGIM Auditorium. The objective was to enhance core competencies of forensic pathologists in the 21st century. Dr Jayantha Herath, Deputy Chief Forensic Pathologist, Ontario Forensic Pathology Service, Canada, delivered a lecture on “Forensic Autopsy in the 21st Century”. A histopathology practical session was held in the evening at the same venue by Dr. Jayantha Herath. Pre congress session was well attended with the participation of Specialists in Forensic Medicine as well as postgraduate trainees in Forensic Medicine.
